The package is a reed weave into a clam shell shape to hold soap.
Editor's Note:
A reed weave design is accomplished by using floor or mechanical looms.
A reed is part of a loom consisting of a frame with lots of vertical slits. It resembles the design of a comb.
The reed is used to push yarn, securely into place. It separates threads, keeping them untangled and in their proper place. It, also, guides the shuttle back and forth across the threads, compacting the weaved yarn.
