Pumpkin Seed Oil

Do you have a goat milk soap recipe for using pumpkin seed oil along with puréed pumpkin? Thank you very much! Debbie

ANSWER: Hi Debbie. Thank you for your question.

The best thing for you to do is follow your favorite soap recipe and substitute one or two of the oils with an equal amount of Pumpkin Seed Oil. Add a few tablespoons of pumpkin at trace. Be sure to run the modified recipe through a lye calculator. A lye calculator can be found at http://www.thesage.com.

Happy Soaping!,
