Kukui Nut Oil!

Kukui Nut Oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the Aleuritis moluccana, Hawaii's state tree.

Kukui nut oil is cold pressed from seeds of the Aleuritis Moluccana, Hawaii's state tree, (Candlenut tree). It grows to 80 ft. tall, blooms white fragrant flowers, with twisted trunks & branches.

It bears nuts containing seeds with a hard coating and high oil content. The round nuts are from 1.6 to 2.4 inches in diameter.

Kukui oil is natural with a semi-clear color, light, sweet, nutty aroma. It's aroma is so light, some claim it to be odorless. It has a thin texture which penetrates the deepest layers of skin, quickly. It creates a protective shield locking in moisture. It won't block pores, leaves no greasy feeling, allows skin to feel silky and smooth.

It has large amounts of Omega 3, (linolenic), and Omega 6, (linoelic), essential fatty acids which are crucial for stimulating skin and hair growth. They relieve dry skin by helping skin cells produce more lipids, which trap natural oils. Skin cells are strengthened. Omega 3 has a strong, natural, anti-inflammatory agent. It can calm psoriasis and eczema, while minimizing redness. It decreases sunburn response.

Kukui oil has vitamins A, C and E. Vitamin A keeps skin moist and guards against bacterial infections. It relieves or fades acne, psoriasis, fine lines, wrinkles and age spots. Vitamin C speeds recovery of wounds or burns. It prevents skin wrinkling and inflammation. Vitamin E reduces discolorations, protects against UV damage, reduces appearance of age spots, fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks.

Kukui oil has antioxidants benefits! Antioxidants protect skin by fighting off free radicals. Free radicals attack our bodies on a daily basis from UV rays, pollutants, exhaust fumes, industrial fumes, food additives and more. They cause skin to look pre-maturely aged with dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles, sagging and discolorations.

CAUTION! Those with nut allergies should avoid using Kukui nut oil. Also, keep away from high temperatures, since it can go rancid quickly. Store in cool, dry, location.
