It has over 100 minerals:  sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, bromide and trace amounts of natural iodine.  It has more minerals, less sodium and iodine than table salt.  The iodine in natural sea salt isn't like table salt.  Table salt is artificially iodized. ESSENTIAL OILS:   Concentrated natural oils of a plant.  Comes in a variety of scents.  Potent chemicals with bio-active ingredients.  Must always be diluted in carrier oil, soap, lotion or other buffering agent.  Never use straight.  Never use large amounts externally or internally. 

FRAGRANCE OILS:  Synthetic oil often has essential oils added.  Comes in a variety of scents.

Be careful using essential or fragrance oils. It won't take much in your homemade body scrub recipe.  You don't want the scent overpowering.


--  Rinse, thoroughly, with water
--  Avoid eyes, ears, nose, mouth
--  Perform a skin patch test, first
--  Consult health care provider, if needed
--  Do not use if allergic to any ingredients
--  Use unrefined, organic, ingredients for best results
--  Avoid cuts, open sores, wounds, sensitive areas
--  Discontinue if irritations:  inflammation, redness, rashes, itching, etc…


(Cleanse, Exfoliate, Detoxify, Soften)  

Mix together 1 cup fine grained natural sea salt, 1 1/4 cup safflower oil and approx. 10 drops of essential oil of choice. Store mixture in glass jar.

Take one handful of mixture and gently massage over entire body while showering. Avoid eyes and all sensitive areas. Rinse with water, thoroughly. Gently pat dry. Relieve dry, oily or dry itchy skin.

(Cleanse, Exfoliate, Detoxify, Moisturize)

Mix 1 tablespoon organic honey, 2 tablespoons finely ground almonds and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice.

Apply to face in circular motions. Rinse with warm water, thoroughly. Gently pat dry.

HOMEMADE BODY SCRUB # 3:  (Combat Cellulite) - (By Dr. Oz)

Apply olive oil to problem areas. Mix together 1/2 cup of coffee grounds and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Apply mixture, in circular motions, on top of problem areas already coated with olive oil. Rinse scrub, thoroughly, in shower. Try this twice a week before any noticeable difference. This is not a cure or long term solution. 

HOMEMADE BODY SCRUB # 4: (Exfoliate, Remove Impurities, Soothe)

Mix raw brown sugar, extra virgin olive oil and few drops of essential oil.  Apply mixture to skin, in circular motions.  Rinse with water, thoroughly.  Gently pat dry.


Use natural body products!  Avoid harsh manufactured chemicals!
