FUN TIP # 1:  Look closely at a soap bubble, large or small.  You just may see the colors of a beautiful rainbow!

FUN TIP # 2:  Sudsy bubbles can have different connecting shapes inside.  Look closely.  Do you see any rainbows? 

BUBBLE EXPERIMENT:  Fill a 2 liter plastic bottle with mostly water and a little soap.  Put cap on bottle to secure it closed. Shake bottle until suds develop inside.  Pour water out.  Leave remaining suds in bottle.  Hold bottle of suds in light.  Look closely.  Can you find the rainbows?


FUN TRIVIA ABOUT RAINBOWS

--  RAINBOW COLORS: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green Blue, Indigo, Violet

--  When sunlight enters a raindrop colors separate, causing a rainbow.  It takes millions of raindrops to see a rainbow.  Sunlight reflected twice inside a raindrop can cause a double rainbow.

--   You can't touch a rainbow.  When you move the rainbow moves too.

--  When the sun is high in the sky, the rainbow will be lower.  When the sun is lower in the sky, the rainbow will be higher.

--  Scientist Isaac Newton explained the formation of rainbows.
