Thank you for your question. So sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I hope I can be of help to you.
If you want a shampoo recipe, with conditioning, I recommend adding two ingredients at about 4% each to your favorite shampoo or soap recipe. These ingredients are hydroloyzed silk protein and BTMS (a conditioning wax). You can find both of these ingredients at the links provided.
To make a shampoo recipe separately, all you need to do is make a basic soap recipe with added honey or sugar, allantoin, DL-panthenol and hydrolyzed silk protein at 1% - 4% each.
To make a conditioner recipe separately, you can make your favorite lotion but replace the e-wax with BTMS. You will need to add a good preservative to the conditioner, if you want a shelf life without refrigeration. There isn't any need for preservative in any soap product.
Everything can be purchased from Lotion Crafters. There are a lot of recipes on this website, but in my opinion they are all too complex and depend too heavily on synthetic ingredients. Instead, the recipes I use are fairly natural and work just fine in basic soap and lotion recipes.
Best Regards,
Sydne Spencer
