All About Camellia Oil!

Camellia oil comes from the Camellia Japonica plant.

Camellia oil is also known as tea oil or tea seed oil. This natural oil is pressed from the seeds of the Camellia oleifera, Camellia sinesis or the Camellia japonica.

This oil has benefits of vitamin E, no natural trans fats, contains antioxidants benefits and has been shown to reduce bad cholesterol.

It's the main cooking oil in the southern provinces of China, used in salad dressings, dips, marinades, sauces, for sautéing, stir-frying and in margarine production.




This natural oil has been used a variety of ways. Its shelf life is, at least, eighteen months. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

It has aromatherapy benefits, used for massages. It's mostly colorless with a very pale, amber-green, hue and a light sweet, herbal, aroma.
